SUMNER CRICKET CLUB - PRESIDENTS

Sumner has fielded a team in the Metro Presidents Grade since the 1980’s.  Admittedly there have been gaps in our appearances in this grade over the years and, at times the club has fielded two sides however the 2017/18 season sees the re-entry of a Sumner Presidents Team.  The Presidents grade caters for the more mature player, eligibility starting at 35 years of age. It is a grade of very skilful players and of those less skilled but wildly enthusiastic – getting out on the park is the goal (as well as coming off in one piece!).  Presidents grade games are 40 overs aside starting at 1.00pm.
