SUMNER CRICKET CLUB - 4 Shore Sumner Social Team

A new team to the ranks, 4 Shore Sumner Social Team is for those that like a relaxed approach to their cricket.  Playing in the more social afternoon grades, this team is all about just having fun.  Play one game or play every game, it’s up to you.  All kit provided.

Our Sumner seniors have also been successful in producing a number of representative stars throughout the years. We continue to strive to play it the highest level possible and always work to improve our game.

WHERE WE PLAY

We're pretty lucky. The St Leonard's ground, in our eyes, is New Zealand's premier club cricket venue. Nestled in a beautiful valley and close to the sea breeze, this ground has a great sub climate for cricket. Our pavilion still stands from years ago and is the perfect viewing platform this summer.

13th Nov 2026 – Show Weekend – Friday cricket for all adult grades except Masters & Cavaliers

19th Dec 2026 – last playing game before Xmas

14th Jan 2027 – Restart of all adult cricket

27th Feb 2027 – Electric Avenue – NO GAMES

20th March 2027 – Last playing day of the season
